The Ghana Grains Council is leading a review of current maize standards in Ghana. The council is working through Ghana Standard Authority technical committees for setting standard and grading of maize to add two more grades to the current three set of grades. Expanding the current grades will lead to better integration of small holder farmers and improve their income.
